ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga 3D printer Enclosure panels kit

ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga 3D printer Enclosure panels kit

Clearview's OrangeStorm Giga Enclosure is a purpose-built, tailor-fit enclosure designed from scratch specifically for the Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga. This isn't a generic box — it's an engineered enclosure with addons that take your OrangeStorm Giga to the next level.

Our enclosure kit includes panels, hardware, and your choice of printed parts kit. These three components are everything you need to get the enclosure set up. For a ready-to-assemble kit out of the box, select the printed parts kit option. All holes are predrilled and the kit bolts together — no hard modding or fabrication work required. Assembly requires only a simple wrench, screwdriver, and 1–2 sizes of hex key wrenches.

Additional filters and accessories can be added on as needed for your print workspace. All accessories are tested for compatibility and fitment with the OrangeStorm Giga enclosure.

A few important considerations:

  • The filament runout sensor is not used with our enclosure and will need to be disabled.
  • The top rim cap printed part included with the printed parts kit allows ~950mm of Z clearance. If you need the full 1000mm, a taller rim cap will need to be printed by you (can be done at any time).
  • The optional internal spool holder extends out and will contact the gantry frame at 900mm. If you need full Z-height clearance, it can be removed or simply don't select this option.

The kit comes with a variety of options for panels and attachments. Panels on each side use a split, two-panel configuration for easier shipping. The basis of the design can be seen in the interactive model below.

  • We do not offer BOM, STL, DXF, or any other derivative kits beyond what is available here.
  • The sides, back, and top panels are split into 2 halves to make them shippable. Single-panel options are not available.
  • We no longer offer kits in the thinner 1/8" panel thickness. The 1/4" panels are significantly more durable and offer better sound dampening — the thinner 1/8" panels had too much warping when heat was introduced.
  • The door-only option is no longer available.

Our ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga Enclosure panel sets are CNC-cut panels of clear transparent acrylic or solid PVC, 6mm (1/4") thickness. These are cut to the dimensions and specifications of the ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga on a professional-quality CNC router with professional cutting hardware. The top panel also includes an extra supporting extrusion for stability and strength.

The panel set has options for great accessories like cutouts for our air filters, exhaust options, LED lighting, and more.

Q&A / Frequently Asked Questions

What panel material should I choose — PVC or acrylic?
PVC has better insulative properties for high-heat printing (ABS, ASA) but is not transparent. Acrylic is optically clear and holds heat just fine, but comes at a higher price point. Both materials perform well up to 60°C chamber temps. PVC is the more economical option if you don't need to see through the side and top panels.

Why don't you offer 1/8" panels anymore?
The thinner 1/8" panels had too much warping when heat was introduced into the enclosure. We committed to the thicker 1/4" (6mm) panels because they are significantly more durable, offer better sound dampening, and hold up well at elevated chamber temperatures.

Is the printed parts kit required for assembly?
Yes — the printed parts are required for assembly. The choice is whether you print them yourself (PETG or better filament recommended, about 1–2 rolls) or have us print them in PETG. Choosing our printed parts kit makes the enclosure ready to set up right out of the box.

Does this kit affect the max print height on a standard single-toolhead OrangeStorm Giga?
The lower-profile rim cap we include gives clearance up to a Z height of ~950mm. The machine allows for ~1100mm. If you need the additional height to max out the Z, you can print the taller rim cap yourself. This can be done at any time down the road.

Taller rim cap can be DIY printed for added clearance on top of the printer.

Which riser do you recommend — the 4-piece or the 12-piece?
We recommend the 12-piece riser. It has additional mounting holes that correspond with the holes on the top panel and is our more current design.

What should I know about setting up filament spools and filament paths for my single or multi-head machine?
We suggest feeding your filament in from the top of the printer. Our 1/4" panels are strong enough to support a 5kg spool or four separate 1kg spools in a simple filament dryer. (If you want more spools or multiple 5kg spools, add some support to distribute the weight.) The OrangeStorm Giga has cutouts for wiring grommets on the top panel next to each of the four filament sensor wire points. These grommets can be used to feed in your Bowden tube and filament. There is an additional grommet on the back panel as well.

Which filter should I choose — exhaust, recirculating, or BOFA?
Our exhaust filter is recommended for PLA and PETG printing — it vents retained heat from the enclosure. Our recirculating filter is designed for filaments like ABS/ASA or hotter, when you need to keep the print chamber warm while filtering air. The BOFA filter is recommended if you need assured VOC (volatile organic compound) reduction for safety-critical environments.

Can this enclosure handle high-temp filaments like ASA or polycarbonate (PC)?
The enclosure provides temperature stability and is engineered to withstand chamber temps up to ~40–60°C depending on panel material. It's a critical foundation for printing ASA and hotter filaments — you won't be able to print those materials reliably without an enclosure. That said, there are other factors at play: active chamber heating, air filtering without losing chamber temperature, and filament-specific tuning. Some DIY sealing of the enclosure may help for the most demanding materials. If you're new to high-temp filaments, expect some tuning and adjustment beyond just the enclosure.

Do the caster sets replace the printer's feet?
Yes — the 4-inch caster set for the Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga is designed to replace the stock feet of the printer.

What hardware comes with the carbon filter fan box?
The carbon filter fan box comes with its own mounting hardware. If you believe you are missing hardware from your order, please contact us and we'll get it sorted out right away.

Can I buy replacement panels if one gets damaged?
Yes. If a panel is damaged during shipping or assembly, contact us and we'll work with you to get a replacement sent out. We stand behind our product and will make sure any issues get resolved.

What is the lead time and how long does shipping take?
Fabrication lead time is currently about 10 business days. Domestic US shipping via UPS Ground typically takes 3–7 days depending on location. International shipping usually takes 5–10 additional days depending on customs clearance. All shipping charges, duties, and taxes for international orders are automatically calculated at checkout. Note: shipping costs can be significant for larger/heavier orders, especially to the East Coast or internationally — we price our enclosures at the best price we can offer and do not run promos or coupons.

Can I save money on my order?
You can save by choosing to print the parts yourself rather than purchasing our printed parts kit. We can also provide the STL for certain accessory brackets if you'd prefer to print those as well. We don't charge sales tax outside of California.

Do you offer purchase orders or PDF quotes for businesses?
Yes. Add your enclosure to cart, then click "Request Quote for Purchase Order." Fill out your information and we'll reply with a PDF quote and a link to pay. Alternatively, you can proceed directly to checkout where tax and duties are automatically calculated for your shipping address.

What is your return policy?
We custom cut these panels for the ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga. All sales are final.
